GIT Companies©: the second gen of green companies
Last weekend, COP30 has come to an end after two weeks of debates and proposals, in a combined effort to reduce the planet's temperature to 1,5C above pre-industrial levels. SEBRAE, that's been participating on the event, has now a program and compliance courses for environment-friendly companies.
Meanwhile, Brand KitchenTM is launching a new concept in green economy; GIT Brands© or GIT Companies© (abreviation, business/environment/ecology; disambiguation: Git, lower caps, software engineering, code repository) aims a target audience that is not always concerned about environment preservation regarding their consumption habits.
While environmental impact awareness is rising around the world, certain market niches aren't yet affected by it, say: beer sellers, for instance, would find it difficult to market the environment friendly benefits of their product to buyers, but this is only one example out of many.
Green and GIT©
But what does GIT© mean? GIT© stands for the abreviation of Green, Invisible and Transparent;
- Green: like most of green brands, they too mind carbono emissions and responsible use of renewable resources on their production.
- Invisible: unlike green companies or brands, this is not made obvious to its target market.
- Transparent: although not advertised on brands' campaigns or highlighted on brands's channels and promotional materials, information about its eco-friendly production chain and initiatives are easily searchable in their websites and reports.
